Description

Taken the day before new year's eve. This was the idea I had of london - rainy, the taxis and double deck buses, the teathres.

Short visit, but I'm sure I'll return there for a longer stay :)

Hi. I'm new to dA.
Yes. Captures the typical British weather. And don't forget to mention that probably the British weather forecast was dry and warm...probably.
;P
I read the comments below. Was this photo taken some time ago ? And I wonder whether you have been back here or not since then. Just wondering.
The location:
I think...
This is Tottenham Court Road, and in front of the "We Will Rock You" theatre and traffic light is one of the entrances/exits to the Tottenham Court Road underground tube station. Behind the big bus and taxi is a crossroads and traffic lights. Directly behind the big bus is Charing Cross road (lined with a few bookshops) which leads onto Soho, Shaftsbury Avenue and Piccadilly Circus, and also can take you to Leicester Square for more theatres and cinemas. To the right is Oxford Street, a straight road laden with shops/stores, which leads to Oxford Circus crossroads and then straight up onto Selfridges store and eventually Marble Arch (from which you can go to Hyde Park Corner and Buckingham Palace, Victoria Station, Knightsbridge, Harrods, South Kensington, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall,...). Turning left from Oxford Circus takes you along Regents Street (a street lined with shops and stores such as Liberty's and Hamley's Toy Shop, Apple Store) which takes you to Piccadilly Circus where you will find bookshops, and the Japan Center, Waterstones, and other interesting things.

If you travel and visit the UK, always make sure you bring warm clothes, windproof and waterproof. I guess you know that already now ;P

Sorry for the long comment.
Thanks. Bye Bye.
